City weddings usually take place in large metropolitan area, but today’s natural chic wedding is a fabulous event in Downtown Aspen, Colorado. The Smiths Design captured Stuart and Paige’s nuptials which took place atop the absolutely breathtaking Little Nell Sundeck of Aspen Mountain and a modern reception at theSky Hotel. From the sweeping mountain views to the couple’s fun photos in the streets of Aspen, Stuart and Paige’s rustic city wedding really exemplifies nature with a modern metro twist.

From wedding photographer Katrina of The Smiths Design: “Take a beautiful August Saturday in Colorado, throw in a sweet couple, a gorgeous backdrop and you get a perfect wedding day. That is exactly what Stuart and Paige’s day was! They had their wedding ceremony at the top of Aspen Mountain at the Sundeck of Little Nell. After the ceremony we ventured down the Silver Queen Gondola to explore downtown Aspen for bride and groom portraits filled with whistles, clapping and a Ferrari. The celebration ended with their reception at the Sky Hotel. Such a lovely day and such an honor to be able to document it!”
